My name is Josh Smith. I was born and raised right here in southeast Michigan. I am a graduate of Welch College in Nashville, Tennessee with a degree in music and Bible. I met my beautiful wife Christi while studying at Welch and we married in 2001. We have four amazing kids Nico (11), Nolan (9), Bella (7) and Sophia (2).
Christi and I served a two-year term as missionaries in the northern part of Madrid, Spain before relocating back to Woodhaven in 2005. Since that time, I have worked for Comerica Bank as a banking center manager, managing a staff of nine people, and as a business development officer.
I have been a member of Kirby Church for 37 years and was fortunate enough to help plan and execute the first Relentless Detroit event in 2012.
In 2015 I was excited to accept a position on the Relentless Detroit board, and I look forward to blending my passion for young people with my business and finance experience.
My prayer is that we, as a board and an organization, can provide for the financial needs of our RD Family while encouraging families to find a refuge of peace in the grace and love of Jesus Christ.
