My name is Joe Wilson and I was born and raised in rural Southern Illinois. I’m married to my High School sweetheart, Julie, and we have three amazing daughters; Karlee (20), Kassidy (16), and Klaire (8). Our family relocated to Flat Rock in July of 2012 and I assumed the position of associate pastor at Kirby Church.
I’m a graduate of Welch College in Nashville, Tennessee where I received a double major in Secondary Education and Bible. I have served in ministry for the past 24 years in various positions including, Children & Youth Pastor, Education Pastor, Senior Pastor and Administrator of a humanitarian organization.
In 2010, I worked for a large mission agency heading up four-month, nation wide campaign, that raised over 1 million dollars. I love to travel and have been privileged to visit 15 different countries often leading mission teams.
I served as a volunteer and staff liaison at the first Relentless event and was amazed at the vision and impact being made in people’s lives. I have since became a member of Detroit Barbell and am working to compete in the next Relentless event.
I am honored to serve on this board and look forward to the continued impact being made in children and families.
